Real Estate Investing—Success Habits
By: Dennis Henson
Becoming a successful real estate investor is the result of learning and performing a group of skills the right way—over and over again. If you uncover, develop and practice these skills, then make them habits, those habits will not only lead you to success, you will literally find it difficult to fail.
By forming good habits you are planting the seeds of your success. Og Mandino stated it this way in his book, “The Greatest Salesman in the World”.

Bear Bryant's Poem
One of the greatest and winningest college coaches of our time, Paul "Bear" Bryant, kept this poem in his pocket and read it every day.
It holds a great message regardless our lot in life.
This is the beginning of a new day.
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or use it for good.
What I do today is important as I am
exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.
Leaving something in its place I have traded for it.
I want it to be a gain, not loss--good, not evil.
Success, not failure,
in order that I shall not forget the price I paid for it.

Money Money Money Money
By: Dennis Henson
In order to become a successful real estate investor there are several major skills that must be mastered. One of these skills is acquiring the money to fund your real estate investments. This skill should be learned, developed, practiced, and perfected.
The best way to learn a skill is by actually doing the skill. You learn to find money by contacting people who have money and asking them what you will need to do in order to use some of their money and the more you practice the easier the skill becomes.

Quote by George Allen, American Football Coach
"One of the most difficult things everyone has to learn is that for your entire life you must keep fighting and adjusting if you hope to survive. No matter who you are or what your position is you must keep fighting for whatever it is you desire to achieve."

It's all in a State of Mind
Author Unknown
If you think you are beaten, you are:
If you think you dare not, you won't
If you like to win, but don't think you can
It's almost certain you won't.
If you think you'll lose, you're lost;
For out in the world you'll find
Success begins with a fellow's will;
It's all in a state of mind.
For many a game is lost,
Ere even a play is run,
And many a coward fails
Ere even his work begun.
Think big and your deeds will grow,
Think small and you'll fall behind;
Think that you can and you will;
It's all in a state of mind.
If you think you are out-classed, you are;
You've got to think high to rise;
You've got to be sure of yourself
BeforeYou can ever win a prize.
Life's battles don't always go
To the stronger or faster man,
But sooner or later, the man who wins
Is the fellow who thinks he can.

Real Estate Investing—Using Notes to Purchase Property
By: Dennis Henson
Did you know that by creating a real estate note you may purchase some fantastic deals without using any of your own money?
Writing notes is like creating money out of thin air. Governments do it all the time. If you look at a U.S. Dollar you will see that it is simply a note from the Uncle Sam stating that he owes you one dollar.
